As social media is one of the biggest forms of advertising, you may come across advertisements for gambling products when browsing. Whilst it is not possible to completely remove adverts we have highlighted methods which can help you limit the amount of gambling adverts you see when browsing on your social media platforms and online. FACEBOOK
It is not currently possible to remove all gambling ads from Facebook however it is possible to hide a specific ad or all ads from a gambling advertiser following the steps below:
To hide an ad:
Click ... on the top right corner of the ad.
Choose Hide ad.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
To hide all ads from this advertiser:
Click ... on the top right corner of the ad and choose Why am I seeing this?.
From the Options dropdown menu, select Hide all ads from this advertiser.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

No general facility to limit exposure to gambling ads is available on Twitter, however tweets from gambling companies and specific adverts can be blocked individually:
To block tweets from an advertiser:
Click the down arrow on a post or gambling companies page and look for the option to “Block @...”.
To hide an ad:
Click the down arrow on the post or ad and select “I don’t like this ad”.
You can also select “Why am I seeing this ad” to access your data and ad interests.

As Instagram operates under parent company Facebook there is currently no possibility to remove all gambling ads, however you can remove specific ads or gambling profiles individually:
To hide an ad:
Tap … in the top right of the sponsored post
Tap Hide Ad
Follow the on-screen instructions.
To hide all posts from this advertiser:
Tap … in the top right of the gambling operators profile
Tap Block
Follow the on-screen instructions.

YOUTUBE
YouTube provide the function to block specific advertisers, such as gambling operators, when browsing as well as mute similar ads when browsing on other websites:
To block specific advertisers or hide ads:
For Youtube, tap the info (i) button, select Stop seeing this ad.
For other websites or partners, select Remove X, select Stop seeing this ad
